Our Story

From making things we loved to creating something that means more.

WardCraft started with a simple idea: why settle for something ordinary when you can make it personal?

We’ve always loved creating, experimenting and turning ideas into something you can actually hold in your hands. What began with making personalised pieces, gifts and signs gradually grew into WardCraft.

But it was while planning our own wedding that we really discovered what personalised means to us.

Then we started planning our wedding…

Like most couples, we started looking at everything we needed for the big day — signs, table decorations, gifts for the people who meant the most to us, little details for our guests and all those finishing touches that make a wedding feel special.

The problem was, we didn't want our wedding to look like everybody else's.

We wanted it to feel like ours.

So instead of buying everything off the shelf, we started creating it ourselves.

Welcome signs, table pieces, personalised gifts, keepsakes, QR photo signs, mirrors and all the little details that helped turn a venue into our wedding.

Before long, the house looked more like a workshop than a home!

We realised something along the way.

Personalisation shouldn't simply mean putting someone's name on a product.

The best personalised pieces have a reason behind them.

A private joke.

A favourite song.

A special date.

A memory.

Something that makes the person receiving it smile before they've even finished reading it.

Creating gifts for our own family and friends really brought that home to us. These weren't just products. They were things we'd made for people we genuinely cared about, for one of the biggest days of our lives.

And seeing those pieces being used, given as gifts and becoming part of our wedding made us realise that this was exactly what we wanted WardCraft to be about.

And on 1st August 2026, we got married.

After months of planning, designing, making and probably far too many last-minute ideas, we finally became Mr & Mrs Ward.

Our wedding was filled with things we'd created ourselves, but more importantly, it was filled with our family, our friends and the people those pieces had been made for.

It gave us a completely different perspective on the things we now create for other people.

When somebody asks us to make something for their wedding, anniversary, birthday or another important moment, we understand that it isn't just another order.

It's going to become part of somebody's memory.

That's WardCraft.

Today, WardCraft creates personalised gifts, signs, wedding pieces, keepsakes and much more.

Some customers know exactly what they want.

Others arrive with nothing more than an idea.

We love both.

We're constantly experimenting with new materials, new equipment and new ways of creating things — but the principle behind WardCraft remains incredibly simple:

Make it personal. Make it properly. Make something worth keeping.

We're not a huge faceless company or a warehouse sending thousands of identical products out every day.

We're Neil & Paula, a husband-and-wife team in Lincolnshire, and there's a real person behind every order.

And after creating so much of our own wedding ourselves, we know just how much the little details can matter.

So whether we're making something for your wedding day, a gift for somebody special, a sign for your home or simply an idea you've had that you can't find anywhere else…

Tell us about it.

Because some of our favourite things to make started with somebody saying:

“I've got an idea…”

Neil & Paula
